This Day
On the old iMac, but with the new iPhone! (AT LAST!)
Browsing through iTunes and found a corker!
My tune for the day. Been a weird day... Nice and pleasant for me, but it's been real shitty for some... Cheer up lad! =)
It'll all work out. Take my advice. Trust me!

Networking...
... sites is such a beautiful thing. Seriously.
I remember starting off with using hi5, slowing going on to myspace. Facebook took over and now Twitter is becoming popular. I've always been a sucker for these sites, as they accomodate me on my boredom, and pure noseyness that I am.
BUT, in reality, I sit back and think hard about why am I on these things and the answer I get apart from saving me from boredom, is the people I meet and the potential outcomes that can be achieved in my life. It's not about how many friends you have on your friends list, or the amount of comments you have on your wall, but purely for me. Straight up networking.
I've met quite a few important people through Facebook and I will continue doing so.
So if I'm on it all day.... SO BLOODY WHAT! It's my job! =)
Follow me on twitter? Haha

Job 1?
After having that deep career, summer spending, wedding and other marlarky stuff talk, I looked more into the Afghanistan assignment. I realise how much I really want to do this. Yeah, some of you may think I'm crazy for putting myself out there, and do I realise there is a war going on etc... YES I DO, and yes I do want to go. Who wouldn't want to take this opportunity to go to one of the most actual beautiful countries in the world and come back showing the others what and how life is out there, while we are here, soaking up the sun, all happily merry, drinking beers and forgetting what's going on around the world.
I've spoken about Afghan to afew of my friends and half are praising me and the other half, says, yep, I'm crazy!
One in particular, the EX, actually provided me with some excellent links which has inspired me and made me even more hungry for it.
The link he gave me was THIS.
I was shocked and stunned with what these Photographers went through and captured. That's the shit I'm talking about man!
One photographer in particular, Alvaro Ybarra Zavala had a feature of his photos out in Afghanistan!
Yeah, he gave me ideas on what I could shoot and what images would be effective, but looking at his images hit me. Hit me like those hard iron cannon balls right in the heart. It was deep.
While in Paris with MB, we went to the Maison European De La Photographie on rue de Fourcy.
Exhibiting there was Laurent Van der Stockt, also known as 'War Photographer'.
I told MB about a film I purchased from Vietnam (yes a dodgy DVD) 'War Photograhper' and what the film was about. I watched it on my own, and I shed tears of sorrow on my own. Yep, that gripping! That film HAS to be watched for any photographers.
The film documents the War Photographer on his travels in war zones and you see what he has to go through and see the images he produces from his travels, interviews and one on one talks. It's mind blowing stuff!
It was really nice to visit the exhibition and see Stockts' images displayed. Other photographers were exhibiting, but none struck at me, like when I got hit by a Black Punto car years ago in Islington to get bloody milk!
The whole fashion photography doesn't interest me, but doesn't mean I will rule it out.
I like the nitty gritty stuff and stuff that makes you stunned and speechless. Stuff that makes you drop your yumchaa tea and just be gob smacked. Yep, that IS WHAT I AM going to do!
Soooo, on that note,
Brett, take me there!
100% ON IT!

Nearing 23...
It's almost that time of the year again, well not quite as my birthday is in August, but the planning is needed to be done now to make sure I get the venue I want and have everything perfect! Yeah right! When is anything perfect? Nothing is!
I have my eye on the Lock Tavern in Camden. I love it there after going there after a Yumchaa team meeting!
How time has flown by, as I remember not so long ago organising my birthday with Mark, Luke and Leon at North Nineteen! Which btw, I loved. The food was amazing! Thanks again Karen! =)
The DJ we hired was abit poor, the only good thing he came with, was the funky, ultra cool lighting he put up! So cool!
I've inquired to someone I met recently about him and his friend DJing at my thing, and it's looking promising! =)
I've already have ideas on how I'm gonna design my invite. God I'm soooo sad, I'm already planning the design! Jeez!
Maybe it's because I'm a Virgo? A Graphics student? No excuse anyway. I'm just straight up sad and lonely! =)
Who are the most compatible for Virgos anyway? Does anyone know? I'm not great with all that Zodiac marlarky stuff, so some knowledge with be greatly appreciated!
Nearing 23, gosh, not only have I been able to drink in the States, but soon, I will be able to drive in Florida!
I will fall into the over 25 driving bracket. Not be a youth ticket holder on the Eurostar =( and find myself a toy boy!
I can't wait to get old!
The best thing I did today.
Play with a Japanese Akita puppy at 14 weeks old at the pet shop!
She was a beauty! She was overly excited to play with me, she pee'd a little. Thank goodness, not on me!
This is not her, but she look just like it! =)
She was like a toy!
She's going for £500.

Reconstruction, Transitions, Conversion, Metamorphosis, Refinement.
This evening, I had one of those deep conversations with my older sister, cousin and my soon to be new addition to my family, a Canadian! =)
We spoke about general stuff and the subject of me came up. All eyes on me. You know the general askings of:
"So what have you been up to? Tell us any gossip" etc questions.
I'm not one to go too much into my life, but I do when it's right and when I have to. I tend to keep myself to myself recently and I think it's kinda working. Just getting on with life and taking it a day at a time. Taking out my anger and emotions out on this blog.
We spoke about this blog, and I need to change it up.
This blog has been pretty pointless. I mean, seriously, who wants to know what I've been having for lunch at uni, what sweets I eat, and pretty much shit, lazy pictures that I take? No one, and if you do, I'm sorry, but there will be no more.
For the past year, I've put myself out there, and when I say that, I mean doing too much for others and nothing for myself. I waste my time and effort on pointless things and people, when in reality, I could be doing that all for me.
I've been letting crazy opportunities fly right past me and me not even battering a eye lid at it.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING MY-HA?
I have soooo much laid out in front of me, and all I have to do is show that I want it and prove it! How hard can it be?
Funny thing is, it's not hard. I just need to get on with it!
Speaking to Trinh and Sean about these jobs that have for me and how they want me to do this and that! I want it BAD!
I now want this job with Brent to go to Afghanistan! So Much. It actually depresses me now, thinking about it.
But moving on. The lame blog is done. The real one is here.
Get ready YO!
I'm EXCITED! =)
NO IMAGES, JUST STRAIGHT UP ME TALKING!

Killer 'Fuck Me' Heels
One Sweet Day
Yesterday, at Yumchaa HQ my cousin who had just come back from the US, got me this, well, I saw it and took it! Haha! (with her approval!)
US always have the best sweets!
Later that evening, my older sister arrived home from her short holiday to Portugal... What did she buy me?
This...
I don't know what was the piss take. The fact that the sweet was a WILLY GUM, or the fact that the brand was called VIDAL! (the company who I worked for, for 5 years!)
Overall, the day was SWEET! ;p
Night ended bang on!
Bisou xxx

Pareee Chocolatier!
While in Paris, I made sure I bought myself the buffest and finest chocolate about that I love.
I think I bought about 7 slabs in total, at 4 Euros each I think. Can't remember.
But anyway... after a weird Saturday, I needed some TLC. So I head straight for the chocolate. I thought I only had 1 left, but to my amazement, there was 3!!!!!!!!!!!!
Swear down, this is the best shit ever....

Student Loan
Yep yep, it's that time of the year again, well, if your good at not leaving things last minute.
STUDENT LOAN APPLICATIONS!
The last payment was given late last month, so it's a proper grind now for all the non workers and high spenders till the next loan! Shit!
eBay and car boot sales, here I come! (I sell good shit!)
I must say, doing it second time round was easy! Only thing difficult was locating my UCAS number thing and campus code!
But it's been done, so I just have to wait!
I better get more this time!

My Venue
Gello Time
Stumbled into uni pretty early considering I had to turn back home cos I forgot my USB for my presentation that I stayed till 3am for! Silly girl!
But anyway, hunger striked.
Menu was shy, so I opted for the Jacket and beans. It was shit... ERGH!
One thing that caught my eye was the JELLY!
Yep, my uni sells jelly in the cafeteria! First time I've seen it there! Strawberry flavour, my favourite.
As you can see I didn't finish the main, but killed the pudding!
I want it NOW!
p.s Umbro now sells water???
