Work It NYE @ Visions!

I vowed to never go to a hyped party, but I guess I can make one exception for New Years!

East end dive, low ceiling, hyped people, no air con, stussy and sneaker wearing trainer people everywhere, wannabe photgraphers and stinky smelly people gathered in the basement for the countdown!
OH I LOVE IT!

Bring it on!

R.I.P Georama

My dearest cousin had an accident not so long ago, and his love, his beautiful custom made, one of a kind, imported colourful fixie bike was totaled....

Thank god, my cousin made it out alive!

R.I.P Geo....
=(

Punk in Vans

The other day, my cousins and I went slightly crazy on buying Vans shoes. 24 pairs were purchased between the 3 of us.
Today, I went to return 3 of my pairs, as they were way too big. I guess I'm smaller in Vans shoes and I didn't know it!

I arrived at the Vans shop and queued and waited my turn to be served....
I did think: "Hope that slow guy doesn't serve me"

SODS LAW, he does. =(

I gave him the the 3 shoes and my 2 receipts. 1 from the Carnaby store and the other from the Westfield store.
He slowly, I mean, slowly tapped on his computer and eventually managed to get the correct amount that was meant to be refunded to be. (He kept on getting the wrong amount up screen and was gonna continue unless I corrected him)

Ok, so I got my money refunded onto my card, by this time, I was there for about 10 minutes, and I should of been in and out and down the bloody road by then! I filled in my details and he gave me my card and refund receipt and bid me goodbye.

Hang on a minute, I thought.
"Where's my original receipt?"
"You didn't ask to have it back"
"Am I meant to? Should I not get it back anyway? I've got like 10 more pair of trainers on there, that may be returned for any reason"
"Well you didn't say"
"I shouldn't! You just bid me goodbye without giving me my own receipt!"
"Well I can only give you the receipt for the Carnaby store"
"Why is that?"
"It's company policy"
"So what does the customer get back for proof of purchase? I need my receipt back"
"You don't unless you say. I can reprint you the Carnaby like I said but not for Westfield. The only way you can get it back is if you buy the Trainer you bought from Westfield and go there to return it to get your original receipt back"
"But there is a reason why I'm doing a return!"

By then, I was getting agitated, as this prick had no customer care skills and was such a wank stain!

"Oh this is shit" I said.
"If your gonna start swearing at me, I will not serve you"
"Are you listening? I said, this is shit. How is that aimed at you"
"You know what, I'm not going to serve you. You have been rude and now swearing at me. Get out. GET OUT!"

I looked at the guy who was serving next to him (who looked managerial, as he was ordering people about while I was in the queue)

"Calm down Omar (I think his name was) You do this transaction and I deal with this.

So I moved to the other till and I asked:

"So what can you do?"
"I can print you another receipt for this store and for Westfield, a note"
"A note? Can you not give me some sort of transaction number or something, so Westfield can track down my transaction on their system?"
"Yes, I can do that!"
"Finally, that is all needed. Not someone who doesn't know the company's refund policy and customer skills! He's shocking!"
"I'm sorry about that, but this is all I can do. I know it's a hassle but here you go"

He gave me my original receipt for the store and the transaction details for the Westfield transaction.

I thank him and walked away.

I SWEAR DOWN, that fucking prick pissed me off sooooo much! I'm still brewing about it now. Someone as stupid as him should be shot. What a dickhead!

Yes, You, Omar at Vans store, Carnaby! You dickhead!

This blog was a time for me to let it all out. WANK STAIN MAN!!!!! =(

Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, London.

I must have a go on the ice rink and go on the giant wheel before it closes on the 4th January!

Now, where's my Santa who will take me? x

Francis Bacon

Francis Bacon is having an exhibition at the Tate this month and next.

He is famous for his disturbing pictures, which all have faces of a fu*ked up crack head.
The most controversial one has to be this one of the Pope!

He can't be as messed up as me right?

Let's go!

Never Again

DO NOT...
leave your Christmas food shopping last minute!

I did that mistake...

=S

I'll still bang out the BEST Christmas dinner tomorrow though! =)

Memories. . .

I was conversing with a fabulous friend of mine the other night over dinner and the subject of an ex came up. We spoke about his family and where they are now. Hopefully you are doing well and doing what you've always wanted to do.
The subject of the brother, who was in UK Hip hop group, Terrafirma came up.

I remember the days I would go to Cargo to support you, and the odd trips to Milton Keynes! God damn!

This song was such a hit back then!

Let's get old skool!

GET ME BLAD! x

Christmas Dinner. . .

Today, my sister and I went to our local supermarket and got all the stuff we needed to have our Christmas dinner.
The sprouts, the gravy, the carrots, the yorkshire puddings, the peas, the sweetcorn, the dumplings, the roast beef and the alcohol!

Need to buy:
The crackers and the Meat! lol

Bring on Thursday!

Be A Gooner, Be A Giver. . .

I was reading the Metro paper yesterday and saw the best campaign EVER!

The best team in the world, Arsenal Footbal Club have joint arms with Teenage Cancer Trust to provide support and help with the trust.

I feel this is such a great opportunity for you guys out there to contribute to a charity, if you haven't done so already!
Suffering from cancer myself, I can relate and want to thank you in advance if you donate!

GO ON!!!!!!

Donate at: http://www.beagoonerbeagiver.org

I love it! =)

Super Girl?

Today, a very close, sweet friend of mine called me Super Girl and said I was?

I find that hard to believe but really do wish I was. I'll have the powers to freeze things, and maybe time hopefully? Have X-Ray vision. Laser eye malarke so I can burn the mother fuckers out there. Obviously lift crazy heavy buildings from young innocent people and FLY!!!

Flying would be amazing. Having that power to escape where no one else can go. Overlook what's happening in life. See life in a very different perspective.

I wish Super Girl existed, and I was her! =(

Thanks though J. That made me smile! =)

I Love It!

No matter what sort of mood I'm in, happy, sad, energetic, depressed or blank. I can always switch on my favourite song, Radiohead, High and Dry...

It's fucking amazing!
It got through a rough stage about 3 years ago, where I was in a predicament and was seriously hurt. Listening to this track, yes, is pretty depressing, but the lyrics hit you and you realise that theres positives at the end of your hurt.

Have a listen...

My all time favourite song. =)

I Could Do With Some Coke. . .

A Coke FLOAT people!

Hmmmmmmmm

=)

Only 2 Days Left! =(

I have only 2 days left to organise all what I have to do before Christmas. I have Friday and Sunday off only to get any last minutes presents and any food shopping before Tescos aisles are empty!

My mum, little brother Dylan and little sister Mylan are off on hols on Sunday (so my sister and I are alone this Christmas AGAIN!) so I can't get my mum to do any last minute errands for me!

Oh god!

The end of the year has come around so fast!

I don't like it! =(

Miss Incomplete. . .

Wow, it's been well over a week since I last blogged, and it's been emotional...
The past week has been crazy. Ups and downs, highs and serious lows, BUT I still have the energy to blog!

Yesterday, it hit me hard. I broke down, I broke down like a bitch. I cried all day and I couldn't stop. Losing my bestest and the actual reality of having cancer hit me hard. Hard like a canon ball blasting through Hadrians Wall, but instead, inside me, to my heart.

I never cried when I was told I had cancer. I took it on the chin and walked out thinking,
"Hmmmm, oh shit!" and went to get something to eat. I think I was in denial and didn't let it sink for me to think about it.
I don't think I ever took it seriously and only realised today that it's something terrible that I have and I can't control.

From 12pm onwards yesterday, I cried and cried my eyes out. Not only because I was alone battling this massacre but because it hit me that I can't deal with it anymore...
Uni, work, cancer, family, credit crunch, friends, essays and projects were getting

"WARNING OVERLOAD!"

I cried because I thought I was a stronger person and that I could handle it, but to be honest, I think I was allowed to cry.
I know I'm not a child, I know I'm not a baby who cries all the time, and I know I can handle it. I handled it before, so I'm sure I can still.

I honestly felt suicidal, depressed and alone that no one understood how I felt or no one knew what I was going through. I cried in bed and actually cried to sleep! (oh shit!)
Luke was pretty good to me that day, because he told me positive words and made me kick back into reality and know about myself. He's not all bad. =)

Later that evening my older cousin (sorry for mentioning OLDER cuz! Hehel) called me to see how I was, and yep, I broke down. We had a real heart to heart and I was able to cry and she was able to listen to me babbling on crying every 5 minutes . (Thanks) She told me wise words, which I will use to get me moving forward.

"This two shall pass..."

This too shall pass, basically means that all things go to history in their own time, and something will take it's place that will also pass on to history.

It's a great saying and I will always remind myself of that! Just like when Luke told me about the "Self fulfilling prophecy".
I will always remember that Luke... =)

Anyway... after a heart to heart and a over the phone lecture on art history, I went to bed. Or well I wanted to. I stayed up all night and didn't get any kip till 7.30am. Even speaking to Julia from university at 5 in the morning! I was shocked that she was still up! lol.

That day, Tuesday 16th December, I cried. I was weak, I was alone, I was suicidal, I was depressed BUT I was still alive and still at 22, had the future ahead of me...

Look forward and think positive. =)
x

Merkle!

Today was the most busiest day of MY LIFE!!!
The store was soooooo busy! Too busy for my liking!
With 6 people in, it still wasn't enough!
From going back and forth to get an item for the customer, up and down the stairs to get stock, to folding and folding and folding like you've never folded before was a killer!
My manger was going around feeding us Galaxy chocolate to keep us going, which I thought was quite funny and yummy! =)

We killed it though! On target throughout the week, and we ended it on.....

over £12,000!!!! Whoop whoop!

And I will start of the new target tomorrow, when I buy my new trousers! lol

Well done girls!

(This post was so pointless! lol)

Friday 5 December 2008

Now Please Stop Ringing. . .

Now after that surprised text...
Please stop ringing!

It's taking you this long? All those years?

Please stop!

A Surprise Text!

Yesterday while at work, I checked my phone on my break....

A random number came up which I did not recognised. I received a text message from it also. It read:

"Hi.how r u?mis u 2 alot.love u.dad" (that was the exact text!)

I was surprised, dead surprised, but not surprised at his texting skills, as he still doesn't seem to get the hang of it!

I Love You!

Love Dylan =)

Treatment

For the past 2 weeks, I have been having my treatment! It's been an experience to say the least!
Being told you have cancer, at 22nd is the fucking worse! No doubt about that!
But hey, I'm on the mend to getting myself fit and healthy!

Every Monday I have to go and have Radio Therapy. It like being under a sun-bed, which I find quite funny!
Only thing when you have Radio Therapy is that you come out with terrible headaches and redness in the affected areas!
It doesn't look great! =(

My treatment doctor is really nice. Cracks jokes to make me feel better and gives me a helping hand if you know what I mean! Only kidding! But yeah, I have a good team to help me at the moment!

Here's how a Radio Therapy machine looks like!
I go on one exactly like that, but apart from the dog being there, it'll be ME!!!!!

I do wonder how long I have to keep doing this and if it will work.

Monday 1 December 2008

Love is...

Love is....

Loads of mini chocolate donuts in a box! (and they have to be mini!)

I have been having a real crave for these lately, from the trip to Tescos to just buying junk, to going to every supermarket to try out their version! Tesco's one's are by far the best!

The ones pictured are from Sainsbury's Camden...
Instore now....

Grab them, before I do!

p.s They much nicer to you than boys are!

First Post for December!

OMG! It is actually the 1st of December! How time flies so quickly!
I wish it didn't!

=(

Week 2

I hate Monday's! Especially Monday afternoon's!
Homerton hospital is my new 2nd home on Monday's!
Monday, Monday, Monday! =(

BLUE MONDAYS!

Lying there half naked for 30 minutes may sound quite kinky and exciting with fit Doctors walking around, but it's not!
Not when you get the worse headaches from it and don't know for sure that what you are doing is going to work!

I hate Monday's... =(

Saturday 29 November 2008

Ladyhawke-My Delirium

Absolutely quality video!

I'm All Ears! Literally!

I was at SOUND club the other night, and this ear montage thingy was up...

It looks digusting, cos it is!
What a nice sight to end the evening, which I may say, was so fun! (you know you enjoyed it too Kuei!) =)

The Perfect Match!

I was in Starbucks/Borders in Angel, Islington, and I sat on one of the comfy sofas that they have so little off!
To my horror, my velvet skirt matched the sofa!

The colour of the green was exactly the same! So funny!

Friday 28 November 2008

Love Will Tear Us Apart

Love will tear us apart by Joy Division, is one of my favourite songs, and Love does literally tear us apart!

Scary. . . x

The Tin-Man

These past few months have been real hard, especially this awful week!
At a time like this, I wish I was the Tin-Man from the Wizard of Oz, as he has no heart.
No heart to feel any pain, loss, or heartache...

I wish I was the Tin-Man =(

Bless his metal socks!

Someone Do It!

I have just found out some bad news. To make my life easier, someone, please kill me! =(

Monday 17 November 2008

Doctor! Doctor!

My doctor called me this afternoon. . .
What doctor calls you?
She called me, asking me to come in tomorrow afternoon as an emergency. . .

Right, now I'm shitting myself!

WTF???

Sunday 16 November 2008

I Think I Hate You!

I have a Graphic designer presentation tomorrow which counts as 20% of my overall mark, and it's stressing me out, Mr Milton Glaser is stressing me out!

Why oh why did I pick him to do my presentation on, as it's too late to make changes!
I have been dreaming about him, dazing about him and even having the odd nightmares about him!

God, he better be worth it!

Wish me luck for tomorrow!

Brotherly Love

Awww...
The reality of Dylan actually having a little sister and having to look after her, as him being the older brother has hit him FINALLY! I mean, he's always been real good to her, but also teasing her at times. He's a real sweety most of the time, but just so damn annoying! That's little brothers for ya!

This is my little brother Dylan feeding our little sister Mylan. . .
It was cornflakes btw.

£70 Profit!

Someone just bought my Comme des Garcon scarf off me for over £100!
It's the polka dot scarf worn by the middle girl (even though it's the same girl in the campaign!)

Makes me wonder if I should sell all my other Comme stuff. . . Lol

Friday 14 November 2008

Murray beat Federer?

What has the world come to?
As you can read, I am no fan of Andy Murray! I should support him, being British/Scottish and all but what a wanker! Lol
He beat Federer: 4-6 7-6 (7-3) 7-5!

My Gosh. . .

Till. . .

10 Days till pay day
6 weeks till Christmas
7 Weeks till New Year and New York!

Whoop Whoop!

Dylan Has a Dream

Dylan has a dream, but I didn't know he wanted to be a tennis player!

This was posted up in his classroom!
Check the face! lol

Little Miss Vietnam

My mum bought this cute Vietnamese outfit for my little sister last year.
Doesn't she look cute?

BTW, my brother is at the back grinning and looks like he has no neck! lol
Slightly pervert looking! =S

Girl About Town

The other day, I took my little sister Mylan to west, with no pram! Yes, it was a hassle when she wanted to be carried.

She was "ooohhhing" and "ahhhhing" at the Christmas lights. Too cute!

Free Money!

My University has decided to give me free money and I didn't even have to ask for it!
I received a letter this morning saying they were going to give me the money in installments to help with my course!

LOVE IT!

"SHOW ME THE MONEY!"

Oh yeah, thanks! Hehe

NIKE X Nintendo

OOOhhhh!!!
What a colour way! The Nintendo console has taken over sneakers too!

If only I could wear Nike Air Max 90's!

What a Stinker!

Today, I was on a number 9 bus going to High Street Kensington. When you first think of Knightsbridge, Chelsea area, you think, posh, well mannered, drugged up, working class people! Well thats what I think!

I got on the bus and sat next to a elderly man, who was suited and booted. Wearing his wax Barbour jacket, nice looking Church's shoes, and with a nice wooden walking stick.
There was this horrible stench coming from my right, and OMG, it was him! The man next to me!
I was worried his stench would sink into my clothing and that I would end up smelling like him!

He FU*KING WREEKED! SO BAD!
I had to blatently use my thick scarf to cover my nose, and others did aswel!

So it goes to show, that no matter how posh you are, what area code you live you.

OLD PEOPLE STILL SMELL OF PISS!

Will He or Won't He?

That is the question.

Fingers crossed. . .

Monday 10 November 2008

H&M x Comme de Garcons

I cannot wait!

Steve Madden

Today, my friend and I went to Westfield shopping centre after I finished uni for the morning. We popped into Kate Kuba, as I was in the search for a knee high tan/orange boot for my sister. There was none in Kate Kuba unfortunately but instead, these lovely Steve Madden sandels!

They were priced at £99, and for a pair of sandels, was very steep! I mean, it's winter right now, so you can't even wear it till next year!
They only had the dark beige and gold in store (my friend bought the gold one) They are both nice but I've seen the black versions on the website, but they charge so much to ship it over here, so I think when I go to New York, I can hopefully get them there and for half the price as it's an American thang!

Fingers crossed!

I want them!

Saturday 8 November 2008

Scarf Kerfuffle!

At Jigsaw, there is a lovely chunky charcoal grey scarf! Mixture of Wool and Cashmere!
It's £69.00 but I can get it for £37. Is it worth paying that much for a scarf?

I keep looking at it!

Comments?

Such a Hassle!

For the past few days, my New York trip has been a hassle. From having to change dates and flights, to actually booking accommodation!
The fraud department from my bank called me today, as dodgy transactions have been coming out of my account.
BUT THAT WAS ME!
I'm glad they were attentive to those transaction though! Well done Abbey!

I now have my confirmed flights and acommodation at last!

Just a shame it's not what I really wanted and how I wanted it to go about. . .

Friday 7 November 2008

New York! New York!

After the complications of my trip to New York, I have finally finalised everything, and got the flights and dates I wanted!
HORAY!

I'll be going after New Years Day, but thankfully at 4.30pm, so I can have a nice lie-in! =)
I cannot wait! I need this time away!

Serious shopping, here I come!

Oh Baby Baby!

My brother Dylan is always singing this!

Tuesday 4 November 2008

For Kuei!

That last blog was aimed at you Kuei!

ONLY KIDDING! =)

Some Like Bum. . .

There have been certain individuals who I've realised have their loyalties elsewhere. They follow the hype and fame, and forget about the friends and family who have always been there from the start!

They lick arse, and enjoy it! They damage their relationship with others because of bum users. They don't realise the real shit and reason behind it all!

How did it get like this?

p.s You seem to have shit around your mouth!

Flasher!

This morning, the postman delivered my long awaited Pentax camera flash for my 20 year old SLR camera!

I used the my SLR before I got the flash, and it just wasn't working. I kept on getting dark, murkey photos indoors, but outdoors was fine!
I've started taking pictures with the flash, so hopefully, my new skill can shine, shine, shine!

Watch out for this space!

Right... Let's start panning! Hehe!

Shaolin Monks

Shaolin, Wheel of Life is the critically acclaimed live Kung-fu extravaganza that has thrilled and astonished audiences all over the world. It's showing at our local theatre, Hackney Empire, and my family and I are going to watch it! Yay!

We will watch in amazement as the monks are lifted aloft on sharpened spears, break iron bars on their heads, smash concrete blocks whilst lying between beds of nails and swords, perform handstands on two fingers and splinter wooden staves against their bodies.

Shaolin Monks, here we come!

Monday 3 November 2008

I'm All Ears!

Winter is definately upon us!
The icy weather, the cloudy mornings, the fact that it seems like it's midnight at 5 o'clock, sure tells me, Winter is here!

The other day, I got myself a new winter coat. I'm still in search for a scarf, which I think I will get from Jigsaw. I always wear my leather gloves from my mum who got me them years ago, and they keep my hands nice and warm, but I just can't seem to find my ear muffs!

I remember the last time I saw them, was when Luke and I were in Paris last year December, and because it was so cold, he was wearing them! I have no idea where they are now!

I've searched high and low for them, but no joy!
So while in Westfield, I popped into good ol' Topshop to see if I could find any!

Horay! Topshop accessorie's to the rescue!

I'm a happy chink! ^_^

My Poor Little Sister, Mylan!

OH MY GOD!

I feel for my little sister!
She is so ill!

The one who is always alive and excited around the house, is bunged up, vomitting, pale as a ghost, sick little girl!

Bless her!

p.s She was just dancing! Lol...

Video Gamers NEEDED!

Hey guys,

I'm doing a 3 minute documentry on how addictive and in some ways negative, video gaming is. I'm looking for a video gamer addict or someone who can pretend they are for my groups Video production work!

Please let me know if you can help, or know of anyone who has a collection of game consoles etc!

We're Desperado! =)

I Want!

All my friends and family know that I'm a real sucker when it comes to shoe's and bag's. ESPECIALLY BAG'S!
I have way too many in my wardrobe, that I literally have to pile them on top of each other now, to keep it tidy!

My mums mega rich friend, and her daughter (lol) came round one afternoon to visit my mum etc etc etc...
The daughter had this lovely brown leather satchel bag, and I thought it was Miu Miu. The stitching, the colour reminded me of my sister's one.

I complemented on her bag, and said how nice it was, and I asked her where she got it from? (her mum is super duper rich, so I was waiting for her to say something like Lanvin, Miu Miu or some sort of designer!)

BUT she said it was from WAREHOUSE! £85, but she got discount as her friend works there! (That's my kinda girl!)

I was amazed, and I now I want one!

I was in Westfield shopping centre today with my brother, and I did pop by Warehouse to have a look and to try it on, as you have to, even with bags, and I fell in love! Hehe

Please someone buy me one! =(

Maybe student finance can buy it for me! Hahahaha!

Saturday 1 November 2008

Westfield London

On Friday afternoon, my mum, aunt, their friend, brother, sister and little second cousin went to the brand new spanking London shopping centre, in Shepherd Bush, Westfield!

I met them up after I had done all my chores, and I got the tube there. Central line all the way to Shepherds Bush, and BAM, right in front of you, the centre of all centres!

It was overwhelming, loads of people, stewards keeping the crowd in order and giving directions!
When inside, it felt I was still outside! It was freezing! Whether it was the air conditioning or the big drafts from outside, it was friggin cold!

They had a fashion show going on throughout the day, which I think most shopping centres do, to promote what stores they have in the centre and basically just a big event to open the centre with! It was crap to say the least! Although some pretty cute models strutting their stuff!

Eventually I found my mum and brother, and I took my brother off my mothers hands and we went our seperate ways for shopping!

First stop! FOOD!

What I did noticed about this place was that there was no junk food restaurants there! Pretty good in avoiding England to be America, but for the days when you do wanna scoff your face off, Westfield food hall is not the place!

Dylan and I opted for Square Pie! Hmmm Yum! It's a favourite of Dylans, as everytime we go west, we always go into Selfridges and have some pie!
We both had the Jerk Chicken pie, and oh my god! It was yummy! But not as yummy as the pie at Emirates Stadium! (You must try!) We eventually found seats, which was hard, as there wasn't many! =(

The choice of food there was OK, not the best, but not terrible. There will be something for you to eat there, even if it's just a croissant! lol... Westfield being too posh for the common? I think so.

I had to get some money out, so after looking at my guide map and asking many helpers, I found the Halifax, and guess who was there at the front, signing autographs!

The China man from the advert! Woo Hoo! It was great to see him for some strange reason! He was small with big China man hair!
I wanted Dylan to get a picture with him but he got embaressed and declined. Damn it!

After wondering around the shops and buying afew bits and bobs, my mum called to say we were all going home! We met at the atrium, and there had like literally 3 coffee shops besides each other! I don't get it!

We walked to the car park, which you have to pay for! BUMP! (£2 per hour I think!) and surprisingly it was empty! I think everyone came by public transport! I wouldn't blame them. Who would want to drive through West London to get there? Crazy traffic!

I thought we was going home, but we were going into Central London instead! I guess Westfield wasn't what they wanted or expected!

Good ol' Oxford Street to the rescue!

p.s "Something tell's me I'm into something good!"

I Miss. . .

My-Ha misses:

The road trips,
The Yo! Sushi nights,
The name callings,
The everyday calls and texts,
The great big hugs I get,
The crappy kisses now and then,
The spooning lol,
The arguments on who's turn to pay!,
The lectures on how to become English!,
The teacher,
The Diesel worker,
The model,
The boyfriend,
The best friend,
The soulmate,
The one who always take the mickey out for being a chink,
The one who always makes me drive,
The one who always makes me happy, laugh, smile and love. . .

I miss EVERYTHING! Come back home! =( x

It's Going Down!

Today coming back from my mum's friend's restaurant, Nam An in Wansted, we went home via Whipps Cross. We drove past a Esso petrol station slash Tesco supermarket, and the unleaded petrol there was, wait for it.........

95.9p!

I couldn't believe how much it's gone down since!
There, I wished I had driven my car, so I could fill the baby up!

Petrol is definately worth buying at that rate!

Just For You Kuei!

Drool... HAHAHAHAHA!
Just for you cuz!

Quite Jared Leto looking don't you think?

Cold Turkey!

It's been over a month now, and I have finally gone cold turkey! (I love that saying!)
I think it's doing me good!
I'm happy, (ish) focused, determined, level headed and stress free now.
I think I did the right thing a month ago. . . =S

HSM 3

On Tuesday, one of my days off from Uni work and actual slavery work, I took my little brother to the cinema (well West first) to go and see High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

I hadn't watch any of them before as I thought it was too cheesy with all the singing and shit!

We went to the 5.30pm showing, as my brother, Dylan didn't want to leave it later as he couldn't wait!
My older sister Myanh also came to watch the film with us.

We got our tickets, our popcorn and hot dogs and took our seats. It was quiet weirdly enough as it was half term too!

My brother seem to enjoy it, and so did my sister and I... Oh gawd!

I actually do recommend the film, but be prepared for some cheesy moments, and the feeling of actually blushing for them!

p.s I LOVE TROY! Lol

Monday 27 October 2008

Credit Crunch?

Today I took my little brother and sister out shopping, eating and quite abit of shouting!

I was driving home, and went via Holloway Road.

Shell petrol station have always had decent prices for petrol, but today was the best I have ever seen it since the credit crunch and the petrol rise!

Obviously being at 99.9p, who wouldn't fill their tank up?

Going Up

During the last year, my flats have been in the process of building a lift for my 4 floor flat. Not exactly needed but definately wanted to carry Tesco shopping to our front door!

After more than a year of installing and building, it's finally here!
I was abit nervous to use it at first as they gave us no notice that the lift was working, so I was thinking that I would get trapped inside!

But horay, it was fine and I didn't get stuck in the lift!

I know I'm gonna be so lazy now and use the lift from now on and not the stairs! Oho!

Print More C.V's? Really?

Since handing out my C.V's last week, I felt I had to still hand out more, as I was slightly being too picky in the stores that I did hand my C.V to.

So today, after my cousin and I finished uni, we planned to go to central to hand out more C.V's. We waited for the time to hit 6pm so we could avoid congestion charge, avoid the rain, and mostly avoid PUBLIC TRANSPORT!

I hopped in my fat black beetle to hers to pick her up and we drove towards west and parked up in Covent Garden. My cousin and I started handing out our C.V's in numerous amount of shops, but I still was being picky in the stores I handed them in to! =)

We both ended up giving out all that we printed off. (well she had like 3-4 left, because she got lazy!)

After handing out our "Please give me a job" papers, we did abit of shopping in Paperchase and planned to get something to eat!
We drove back to "THA ENDZ" to grab some dinner, as we both were feeling like starvin' Marvin!

We went to Wagamamas, as my cousin started to like dining there! We conversed about numerous amount of things. Mostly about boyfriends, university, family and also some new shocking news to me! Tut Tut!

We did a quick stop at Borders bookshop. I got myself some books for university and a dictionary, as I definately need one of those for my Friday lessons!

We drove back to her house, and here I am now typing this blog and killing her internet, as I have no internet access at the mo because my mum has forgotten to pay the telephone bill! Damn it!

So to end this boring blog, my advice is to hand out your C.V's in the evening as they seem to be more helpful and strangely more job vacancies! Hehe!

"Chicken Katsu Curry Fo' Life!"

Me Vs Fibroids

Yep, as it says, I have fibroids! The ridiculous amount of bleeding and the pain from it is unbearable! I had a operation to laser the fibroids down last week, and it was looking bright, until. . .
That night a puddle of blood was on my bed! I rushed myself to A&E and they saw me straight away, as I looked like Steven King's Carrie arriving at the hospital all bloody!

Since then, the pain hasn't been so bad and my internal bleeding has been less!

Fingers cross it will stop growing and I can get better! =)

The 3 Mac-keteers!

Such losers!

I Wish. . .

Now that I've started my degree at university, working on a Mac laptop and a old Mac G5 just doesn't do the trick!
I need something with a much bigger screen and bigger memory and ram!

I would love one of these babies, Mac Pros, but the price is just too hefty for my wallet!

So my only option is the iMac. The 24inch would be great, but I know it will be too big for my room, so a 20inch would be perfect!

So whether I sell my beloved white iMac G5 to fund the new iMac, or buy it straight out!

Please someone buy me one! =)

Wasting Away!

For the past month and abit, I've been feeling under the weather, from not sleeping much and not eating my usual amount of food that I normally do. Munching on the junk food that I liked, but now it just doesn't seem appetising anymore!

The other day, I walked into the front room in just my bra, (as you do!) to get my top from the airer, and my mum had a right go at me for losing too much weight. Saying, I've lost weight, look gaunt, and losing chubby meat on my ribs and sides!

I didn't believe her, so I just said:

"yeah, yeah, yeah!"

I looked into my mirror straight after, and I saw what she was saying!

SHIT!

What is happening? I know my lack of sleep and food comsumption hasn't been the same, but how could it be that drastic in 1 month?

I'm scared!
Someone, please feed me! =(

There Is A God!

Today, after my Sound and Image lesson at uni, (which I found so friggin hard to understand, as my teacher spoke so much film studies wordy jargon, that me, nor the class could understand anything! We all resorted to wikipedia! Lol... 'BREATHE') I made my way to central London to hand out my lovely CV's!

The weather was pretty nice for once, the sun was beaming and people we're rocking their sunglasses in October!

I was slouching around my heavy bag with books, folders and not forgetting my CV's in it.
It was hot, warm, humid and I was so damn thirsty!
I wanted a shop to come along, as I walked down Regent Street towards Oxford Circus, and there it was....
Like Jesus holding his arms out to me, welcoming me into his arms. He was my saviour, he was my hero, he was my thirst quencher! Lol...

A guy from the Absolut Ice Bar on Regent Street we're promoting the bar, as from last year Christmas, it went down hill.
They were handing out ice poles in all sorts of different flavours and with their bate boring logo stickered onto it.

I happily took one from him to quench my thirst!

'Hallelujah!'

On my way home, after going in and out of only little stores that I would work in, there was a guy dressed like some chocolatier! He was handing out Lindt chocolates! Woo hoo! I happily took one of those too! How could a girl resist chocolate?

It made my day! =)
