Shipping The FOB Back. . .
A very last minute trip slash holiday slash personal reasons, trip to Vietnam!
I am a 22 year old, half Vietnamese and half Chinese girl who has never been to her mothers home town. I'm shit, I know! But now, I get the opportunity and I am pretty excited. Flights, accommodation, food and spending money all paid for! What more could I want? Time off work and Uni? (well I got it!)
Going in a weeks time didn't really hit me until I spoke to my cousin about her sorting out her passport and Visa. The thought of how my mummy use to live back in the day with her triangular straw hats, picking strawberries or whatever they use to rummage for back then, put a big smile on my face.
I get to see and visit my mums village, see her home back then, her childhood and all her friends! The excitement was rushing and I was getting flustered! Although I know there is gonna be some tears and shit from her, I know it and then I'm gonna cry, which is gonna make Dylan cry and then everybody cries! Good times!
But anyway, I cannot wait! 7 days to go!!!
I can't imagine how wonderful it is going to be. Life changing and emotional for me? I think so! I'll probably come back cultural, as London and New York have made me a bit Met life!
Rowing our boats with our straw hats on, but on our iPhones (ha!) is gonna be the best feeling ever!
The time had come, I am ready, the food I will force myself to eat, but I'm a bit anxious over the toilet situation. I know it's like 2009 and all, but in the village better have flushable, proper toilets with seats and toilet tissue! None of this please!

Goodbye Sweet...
During my trip to Barcelona, I stayed in a nice, modern, businessy type hotel at the seafront. It was great, FREE bottled water all day, everyday, Font Vella, travel toothbrushes and loads of little necessities that I wouldn't normally take! =)
Anyway, at reception had the cutest little fruit sweets and I was lovin' them. I made sure I got loads before I checked out...
Well, Matt did for me... Dirty HANDFUL! Ha!
There was more in my jacket pocket. Call me greedy and cheap, but freeness is always good!
Unfortunately now, they have all been sucked off! ;p I better go back to Barcelona!

Don't Kill Me!
Today, I visited my shitty bank called Natwest. I say they're shit, as they haven't helped me out for shit, or given me or helped me with any free money! Soooooooooo........ They're shit! =)
Interest rates are terribly low....
Anyway, I was there talking to a financial advisor and the subject of Life Insurance came up. We spoke about how it works and why people should have it etc...I currently didn't have any, until now...
Considering my situation at the moment, I thought it would be a good idea, and I guess you will never know what could happen to you on the day, tomorrow, Wednesday, Saturday or next week!...
There was different ranges of Life Insurance and I went for the basic one which in for whatever reason, something happens to me, my family, next of kin, children (if I have any by then) will get £130,000 from my death... Pretty neat huh....
It increases if your Life Insurance is in the higher band, but I'm a student also, so I can't afford that shit! So family, £130,000 will have to do. Hehe!
But on a level, everyone should get Life Insurance... Cos you'll never know, your sister called Myanh could hire a Hitman to kill your ass and receive £130,000 in blood money!
I better watch my back for real now! =S

Dubstepppperzz!
This post is ever so long overdue, as I am probably still recovering from it! =p
On Thursday night, saw the comings of Skream and Benga at the Shoreditch club slash bar, East Village. An easy to locate venue, as some would just say:
"It's around the corner from Favela Chic!"
Bingo, I found it!
The evening was a hyped, eagerly anticipated event, as apparently, Skream and Benga are the Kings of Dubstep. Really?
A few months ago, I had never heard of dubstep, but only from my cousin Bobby and Matthew who kept on raving about this genre, and that it's NANG! Ha! I don't think any genre can be nang! But even so, I decided to give this night a go.
I didn't want to attend alone, so I dragged my cousin Kuei and my sister Myanh to the night. We all did not know what to expect, but I was expecting for the worst! It's always better to think that way. Joshua told my cousin, that if she wore a plaid shirt and buttoned it all the way to the top, she would fit right in! Ha!
Very true, as when we got there, there was more than 7 people wearing checked shirts, and yes, buttoned all the way to the top! Haha!
We met our cousin Bobby and his hyped friends, (especially Alex! =) ) who were already skanking out near the speakers at 9.40pm... It was too early, but they clearly didn't think it was to go hard core!
Beverages were consumed and the night was looking bright. The music was a real pleasant surprise, as I actually enjoyed my night, so did Kuei and Myanh! What a success!
The crowd also, was not what we expected! The dubstep vibe in the club was amazing! Everyone having the time of their life, going crazy at the tunes being played, and basically enjoying the DUBSTEP experience... It was electric...
Bobby was seriously, King Mosher!
Apparently, Alex's face is bass level 3? Would you guys like to enlighten me with this info?
I believe this was bass face level 2?
The venue had a large amount of disco balls on the ceiling and somehow, people were getting hold of them. I wanted one, so I ask the giant called Bobby Long to see if he could get me one. Not only did he get one, but two! YES!
Unfortunately, the small one got confiscated off him while he was dancing it with, so I got Adrian to hide the big one for me so I could take home! Ha!
Overall, myself, cousin and sister had a great first experience of a dubstep night, and would surely do it again! But be sure to wear comfortable shoes, if you ever want to skank out like Bobby and Kuei... =)

Confirmation has been made that, if ladies ever wanted to find good looking chaps on a night out in a club, a DUBSTEP night is THE ONE! =)

Big Muncher
This is what happens when Pizza Express does offers all throughout the month.
It makes little 7 year old boys eat a starter, a whole pizza, a quarter of mine and dessert to himself!
True monster for real!
Not only after he ate all the mains, he said he was still hungry. Man this boy doesn't stop eating...
I forcefully said "NO MORE!" and he just giggled... Funny huh? Not funny when your fat and obese!

What a Sight!
I had my first picture scan of my ovarian cancer last week.

Looks pretty dodgy, as I guess it is. I can't quite work out what's what either, but it's not great!
I look at this and it reminds me everytime...
My-Ha needs reality checks cos I won't give a damn if I didn't remind myself...

Hurt
It amazes me to this day that some will never learn from their mistakes or see the hurt they do to people! A few of my friends, family and me have experienced this lately, and it's a shame to see that it does affect people alot and often!
Dictionary meaning of Hurt:
1. to cause bodily injury to; injure: He was badly hurt in the accident.
2. to cause bodily pain to or in: The wound still hurts him.
3. to damage or decrease the efficiency of (a material object) by striking, rough use, improper care, etc.: Moths can't hurt this suit because it's mothproof. Dirty oil can hurt a car's engine.
4. to affect adversely; harm: to hurt one's reputation; It wouldn't hurt the lawn if you watered it more often.
5. to cause mental pain to; offend or grieve: She hurt his feelings by not asking him to the party.

6. to feel or suffer bodily or mental pain or distress: My back still hurts.
7. to cause bodily or mental pain or distress: The blow to his pride hurt most.

Crying day in and day out, with swollen eyes and bags under them which you can't even hide or say you wasn't crying because it is so blatent! Hurt is obvious and is a disease you cannot get rid off easily. It stays with you forever and can never be forgotten, even if you make amends! The one person who I loved more than anything pissed on me big time. Long story, but did. I was treated like shit and back then, I didn't even noticed! When you look back, especially when your hurt, you realise certain things that are important to you and how it came about becoming like how it is. You see things from a clearer view like sitting in by the sea and just looking out into the ocean and seeing where it will lead you to. You think hard and wise of what you really want, and the answers are there, if you just believe in yourself and get on with it. I have to, I will, and so will my loved ones. There's not one person who will never hurt you, not one. So I tell myself and the people out there. Take guard. Take guard of yourself and your feelings. Life is never fair and will never be. You and only you is number 1. That is what I failed miserably at, and put me at the bottom low.

Cousins
Sunday night, my cousin arranged for all the cousins on my mum's side to have a get together at her new flat, as we hadn't done so for such a LOOOONNNNGGG time. It was a chance to catch up and have a look at her new flat!
We all gathered at the flat at about 7pm ish and already, Tieu Ly and Bobby were already at it with the Nintendo Wii.
Bobby is a serious pro on it, and perhaps took the game a bit too seriously! =)
Myanh was up next, and she did pretty well actually. You can see from the look on her face how happy she was with her score!
Hunger striked and we all was pretty hungry. Ordered Dominos online and chilled till the food arrived!
We played a game of poker too, and I think I knocked out 2 or 3 people, but I was heads up anyway with Ben... I hate heads up, as I have no patience and get bored very easily. I went all in with 7, 2. (I know!) and Ben had Queen, Ace! Ha!
Guess who won that hand? Moi! A 7 came on the flop! What a touch!
But then I ended up losing in the end! =(
It was a great night and we ended it on playing Trivial Pursuit! That game is sooo hard. Do not play unless your a serious boffin cos you'll just feel so stupid if you don't get any right!
The night ended past midnight, as people had work or uni to go to the next day!
Definitely again guys!
